The Ridge - We are an Everyday Carry Product company specializing in minimalist products, headlined by our flagship product The Ridge Wallet.

The Ridge Wallet started as a Kickstarter project in 2013 and is now in the hands and pockets of over 3 million people worldwide! We currently operate around the globe selling in the US, Canada, the UK, EU, and Australia on Shopify and through other channels such as Amazon and Wholesalers. We have also expanded and continue to expand our product catalog to include KeyCases, Bolt Action Pens, Knives, Rings, Watches and we have plenty more in the works!

Job Responsibilities:

• This position would be the first of it’s kind in a Merchandising Department within the company. The position will report directly to the CEO and work alongside Product Development, Supply Chain, Brand and Marketing departments - but overall this position will work with all departments within the company.
• As we work to establish a Brand Identity outside of our flagship product, this person will be responsible for developing a lifecycle of each product working with the Product Development Team and Brand Team to establish why we are making each product, who it is for, and how it fits our Brand Mission, Vision and Values.
• Work within our current Future Product Roadmap to Develop a Merchandising Calendar for each product, collection of products, special releases, etc.
• Work with our CMO to factor in Ridge customer purchasing history and LTV planning when developing the merchandising calendar and corresponding plans
• Develop close partnerships with the Packaging Director and Wholesale Team to ensure all product launches take the Wholesale Sales experience into account.
• Understand how our current Supply Chain process affects our product launch strategy - and how it affects all departments within the company.
• Strong Knowledge of the Everyday Carry and Minimalist marketplace - and tie that into Marketing, Brand and Product Development plans
• Not only lead our US Merchandising initiatives, but also plan out how each plan will affect our international markets and planning.

Job Requirements:

• Ability and Determination to build a team
• Knowledge of the Everyday Carry and minimalist marketplace
• Someone who embraces making decisions - and builds plans around those decisions
• Knowledge of Slack, Notion and/or Loom to enhance and optimize Remote Work
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, while also having the patience and communication skills to make sure processes and systems are rolled out correctly with the highest quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
