Job description
DoStuff is hiring our first Human Resources leader, a People Operations & HR Director. You will be a Player Coach who is responsible for owning, operationalizing, and subsequently driving people strategies. This includes:
- Providing strategic-level leadership for developing and implementing policies and programs that impact an employee’s life cycle, including but not limited to: talent acquisition, culture, engagement, compensation packages, benefit plans, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compliance.
- Setting our people up for success, generating an outstanding employee experience, and structuring systems that enable a fast-growing organization to consistently scale excellent performance
- Running HR functions such as compensation & benefits, compliance, and policies. Work with vendors and on your own to ensure efficiency, competence and completeness in day-to-day HR work
Responsibilities Include:
- Talent Management: Recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining employees
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors
- Ensure compensation plans are competitive, work with Managers to develop and communicate about compensation plans, execute annual compensation planning process
- Payroll administration
- HR compliance
- Facilitate annual programs such as open enrollment and performance management
- Coordinate talent development by providing coaching opportunities, feedback, and training programs to improve capabilities for staff at all levels of the organization
- Coach leadership on building human systems, including how to develop the people on their team, guiding on how to have difficult conversations, etc
- Review current performance management methodologies and upgrade as needed to improve employee development and retention
- Lead organizational design, change management, employee lifecycle optimization, and career path development to provide growth opportunities that align with DoStuff’s goals.
- Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace while designing and implementing best practices to support these efforts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
