POSITION SUMMARY
The Director– Product Management is responsible not only for roadmaps across multiple business critical systems; but also for working with a world class team to develop industry leading ideas and to turn these ideas into live products. This role is responsible for crafting the vision, defining and defending product roadmaps, and driving those roadmaps from business requirements through post-launch analytical analysis to determine if success metrics are met.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the product roadmap such as prioritization and management among new product generations, enhancements and emerging needs and requests.
- Leads cross-functional teams to develop roadmaps, create product definitions, establish milestones and manage the implementation and evolution of the product development cycle.
- Collaborates and creates alignment between teams and stakeholders.
- Drives continual product improvements and informs the product roadmap with new ideas based on ongoing customer research, market and competitive analysis, and product performance.
- Works closely with operational, marketing, and sales teams to understand their needs and incorporate them into the broader set of requirements.
- Communicates product plans, benefits and results.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
- 8+ years progressive product management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
