We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Director, Anchor Strategy. This role is responsible for managing and growing Obran Anchor Strategy Partners, a key piece of Obran’s growth strategy. Anchor Partners are large operators, primarily in Health, which work with a number of suppliers that are potential targets for Obran expansion strategy. As part of our partnership, Partners have agreed to facilitate relationship-building with these suppliers.
The Director will act as the main point of connection between Obran and the Anchor Partners. This person will act as part business development and part project management. They're responsible for strengthening existing relationships, identifying and building new Anchor partnerships, driving project plans and ensuring milestones are hit.
Responsibilities:- Act as the primary contact with Obran Anchor Strategy Partners
- Manage relationships with partners in order to ensure that they are satisfied with the results of their collaboration
- Negotiate new partnerships with potential partners in order to establish mutually beneficial relationships
- Evaluate the performance of existing partnerships in order to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and manage effective communication plans to engage Partners and their suppliers.
- Communicate with partner companies on behalf of the organization to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the current status of partnerships
- Manage projects, including setting meeting cadence and agendas, coordinating outreach efforts
- Developing and implement strategic plans that align with partner goals and objectives
- Establish effective communication channels with partners in order to foster productive working relationships
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities in order to identify potential opportunities for new partnerships
- Maintain reporting and track progress of Anchor Strategy program
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have a passion for economic equity
- 5+ years of experience in related fields, e.g. Sales, Consulting, Business Development, Account Management
- 3+ years of experience with Business Development or Partnerships management
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Negotiation and Networking experience preferred
- Strong relationship building and communications skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated or comfortable working in ambiguous environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, or similar (preferred but not required)
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 USD per year plus potential 10% performance bonus

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, net disposable income, and performance. The range listed is one component of Obran’s total compensation package for employees/members. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Cooperative Membership, an open Paid Time Off policy.
