Director of Supportive Client Services

Position Overview: The Director of Supportive Client Services is an essential role at Alliance Counseling! It provides critical implementation of Targeted Case Management and Comprehensive Communtiy Support for clients with SED or SMI diagnosis(es) who need assistance through additional support services. This position is for a second director and will work closely with our current director to share the duties required.

The overall role consists of providing supervision, support and education to Alliance’s TCM and CCSS staff, providing direct client-services to a clinical caseload of 10-12 clients, maintaining updated regulations, being in regulatory compliance, hiring and training new staff, understanding/submitting/tracking prior authorizations for services when/if applicable, reviewing notes for medical necessity and submitting claims, providing outreach and education for the community about our services and occasionally attending events as a representative of Alliance. This is a full-time, overtime-exempt, salaried position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. The position will be based in Bowling Green at our Lyda office location.

Qualifications and Skills:

❏ Have an active and unencumbered LPCC, LMFT, LCSW or LPP license in Kentucky.
❏ Align with Alliance Counseling Associates mission, vision, and values.
❏ Having previous experience or clear knowledge of the role of a TCM or CSA is preferred.
❏ Previous experience as a supervisor is preferred.
❏ Be outgoing, friendly, easily connect with others and have a solid sense of empathy, compassion and passion for client-centered care.
❏ Have the skills and desire to be both client-facing and supervisory in your role; someone who likes a mixture of both is the ideal team player for this position.
❏ Be able to learn and operate our EHR, Phone System, and other technology proficiently.
❏ Be able to lead through example and support staff consistently. Creating an atmosphere of positivity and encouragement is part of our core values.
❏ Must be punctual in reporting to work.
❏ Be highly organized and detail oriented in order to manage multiple tasks at once.
❏ Be a team player, work well with both administrative and clinical staff and have a passion for helping others.
❏ Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
❏ Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
❏ Have strong problem-solving skills for both client-facing needs and supervisory responsibilities.
❏ Model effective communication through bringing challenges and problems to the correct person; we value trust and transparency.
