Hello,

My name is Ryan Schmidt. I own a real estate investment company that invests in apartment complexes. Recently, I started several additional companies that revolve around yacht charters. Our company owns two Sea Ray SLX-350's that are operated for charter out of Clearwater Beach, FL. We recently purchased an 89' Leopard yacht that is undergoing a refit. When the refit is complete, the vessel will be put into charter service. We're also expecting to purchase a 110' Antago yacht. It will also require some rehab work to be completed. When completed, it will also be put into charter service. I'm in search of a "I've got it" person to run the Charter Operation. I'm going to be honest - there will be a lot going on with this position. The person that takes on this role will wear many hats! A few of the many (not an all-inclusive list!) include: Managing the financials of the charter operation, hiring (and possibly terminating!) crewmembers, marketing, scheduling, maintenance tracking, provisions planning, slip destination planning, trip planning, etc. It's entirely possibly that you may be ON some of the charters as they're operating. Again, there's a whole lot that goes into this, but I do believe this could be a fun position! This position is heavily based on commission. The salary is $30,000/year. However, the most motivating way to create this position is to provide bonuses for each charter trip. I.e., the more trips you charter, the more bonuses you will receive!

I'm in search of a solution-based mindset. What does that mean? It means that if you don't understand something, you do the research to figure it out. I'm also in search of an outside-of-the-box thinker. There will be complicated situations, I need the ultimate problem solver that will go above and beyond to find resolution.

Work will primarily be accomplished out of our office, located in Forest Lake, MN. However, travel will be part of the position.
