The Sr. Manager of Product Operations & Data Quality is responsible for the item master process and data integrity of Jazwares. An accurate item master record and efficient process leads to better-informed decisions and reduces transactional errors/ cost and inefficiencies in multiple departments. The successful candidate will define and execute process improvement initiatives around the company product database. The director will aim to improve alignment, communication, and processes around the product records, working as a cross-functional connective tissue between the Brand, Product Development, Business Intelligence, Planning and Procurement teams.


What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee quality assurance checks on product data by implementing data quality, consistency, and centralization.
  • Maintains a full audit trail of data changes within the product life cycle.
  • Design and implement business processes to streamline data quality of product attributes.
  • Partner with internal and external partners to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Lead process mapping exercises to understand the current situation of the work area or value-stream.
  • Lead team of four analysts.
  • Establish team metrics for measurement of quality and operational excellence.
  • Define communication plans to ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement as well as escalation processes with mitigation plans and resolutions.
  • Identify tasks that are candidates for automation and lead the process.
  • Provide hands-on support on process troubleshooting and process improvement while maintaining quality and product standards.
  • Develop a process-oriented culture among teams that translates strategic intent into scalable execution plans.
  • Manage resources and optimize the time of the Product Management Team based on business needs.
  • Reduce transactional errors and inefficiencies as a result of incorrect data.
  • Support the implementation of the company's new demand planning software.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain,, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced using ERP solutions to oversee data quality.
  • Analytical mindset and comfortable working with data in analytical and operational tools such as Excel, Google Docs, and Tableau.
  • Ability to connect and influence diverse audiences and inspire change and adoption of new processes.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in process improvement or product management.
  • Experienced partnering with geographically dispersed and/or ad-hoc teams.
  • Flexible in managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently while coordinating activities with cross-divisional teams.
  • Team player; able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or project management experience is a plus. (Understanding of DMAIC approach)
  • 1+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence or Data Visualization tools like Tableau.
  • 3+ years using and defining smart KPI’s to create reliable/sustainable improvements.
  • Management experience
  • Proficient with Google Sheets advanced formulas and calculations.
  • Proficient in implementing business process improvements.
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
