Job Summary and Qualifications

Quality / Disease Specific Coordinator (Registered Nurse)
Areas of Focus: Stroke, Sepsis
SCHEDULE: Full-time, M-F

Utilizes a variety of clinical and leadership skills to educate, consult, and facilitate the service-line team in achieving the highest quality of service and satisfaction for the patients. Coordinates service line work flow to maximize operational efficiency, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Identifies training opportunities and coordinates the development and implementation of educational programs. Ensures development and implementation of effective, ongoing clinical programs to measure, monitor, assess and improve services. Ensures program integrity through regularly scheduled quality assurance audits. Develops and fosters effective collaboration among physicians and service line team to ensure an integrated approach to providing high quality care and services. Ensures effective physician communication and coordination of resources, standards of care, and operating procedures. Actively contributes to and works toward hospital wide improvement in meeting core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associates or diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required; or appropriate multi-state license
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
• Minimum two (2) years of Acute Care, Critical Care and/or ED experience with a solid grasp of hemodynamics required

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
