Title: Dishwasher

Reports to: Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Food & Beverage Manager

Supervises: No supervisory duties are included in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform necessary clean up and sanitation maintenance activities for the food preparation and storage facilities.
• Help distribute food and beverage products and supplies throughout the kitchen.
• Clean food production, holding and serving equipment.
• Assist with product receiving and/or storing activities.
• Maintain the safety and sanitation standards upheld by Valley Hi Country Club.
• Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware and glassware.
• Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand
• Polish all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes.
• Collect trash from kitchen areas; empty garbage barrels,
• Wash and re-line with new bags.
• Examine garbage for silverware, dishes and glassware.
• Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area. Refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.
• Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Perform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, putting away deliveries, and cleaning coolers, freezers and storerooms.

• Perform all other duties as may from time to time be deemed necessary by a Supervisor.
• Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance. Keep good personal hygiene, restrain hair, wash hands as much as possible, and use deodorant products.
• Comply with Club policies, rules, and regulations.
• Be knowledgeable of etiquette and social customs especially in regards to Club functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
