Veterinary Medical & Surgical Group is a 24 hour facility located in San Juan Capistrano. We are looking for another team member to join our team to help run an efficient ER.

Doctor Assistants are essential in the daily work of our Veterinarians. The DA is the right hand for our doctors and work as a team to help every patient to the best of their abilities.

Requirements:

• Strong multi-tasker
• Intermediate math skills
• Great customer service
• Computers skills
• Phone etiquette
• Billing and financial abilities
• Experience in the medical field is required, veterinary preferred.

Duties include:

• Auditing charges
• Updating clients on financials
• Creating and presenting treatment plans
• Reviewing discharges
• Filling medication
• Obtaining medical history
• Referral clinic coordination
• Obtaining and sending RDVM records
• Record keeping
• Updating medical treatment plans
• Phones
• Animal restraint
