Document Controller
Arabi, LA

Audubon is currently seeking a Document Controller to be part of a project team working onsite at a client's plant in Arabi, LA. The Document Controller will manage all project documentation for the detailed design and construction of the project while working onsite at a client's plant.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Printing and distributing documents as needed.
- Scanning and uploading documents according to company procedures.
- Ability to perform markups and quick sketches when needed.
- Collecting and registering all technical documents such as drawings and blueprints in the company's system.
- Reviewing and updating documents for maintenance and quality control.
- Keeping other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access.
- Handling records across various departments.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive documents.
- Creating and maintaining project documents in existing file management systems.
- Working closely with contractor, quality assurance, and quality control team members to ensure materials QA measures are being met.
- Assisting in periodic and project close out auditing from a materials documentation standpoint.
- Controlling distribution of reviewed materials documents to team members and final document management systems.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
- 3+ years' experience in similar roles.
- Some drafting skills and knowledge of 2D drawings.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Office.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new document and project management systems.
- Ability to organize and utilize time to complete work within given deadlines.
