Job description

We are therapeutic dog boarding, training and daycare facility in Carmel, NY looking for a confident and experienced person who can manage the responsibilities of handling and taking care of our dogs and positively interact with our clients. We are looking for an employee who has good experience working in a dog facility (vet office, shelter, etc..) and someone who can properly carry the assertive energy needed to maintain a peaceful environment and not overstimulate our dogs while working in the kennel. This knowledgeable person will also be able to put our client's minds at ease that their dog will be well taken care of while at our facility.

Kennel Responsibilities

The daily sanitation of:

• The indoor and outdoor dog kennel run space
• The pet beds
• The kennel floors
• Dog bowls
• Food prep area
• Towels
• Office space

• Daily feeding of the boarders
• Administer medication
• Routine checks for health and well being
• Bathe dogs

Hours

This is a 3-4 hour a day shift from 7:00-11:00 am with an opportunity to work 3 or 4 (or more for the right candidate) days a week. There are opportunities to pick up more hours and hours/responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
