DaleyPawz is looking for enthusiastic animal lovers to join our devoted, growing team.

What we do

As dog walkers, we provide a high standard of care, and go above and beyond for every client and their pet. This includes walking dogs along agreed-upon routes, within the client's desired schedule. We provide water and dispose of waste properly during and after walks. We carefully and securely enter and leave properties, and properly read dog body language to lower risk of injury to ourselves and/or the dog.

Job description

As a dog walker, you will be responsible for getting to multiple clients' homes on schedule, walking them on the allotted route, and spending either 20 minutes, 30 minutes, or 40 minutes on each walk. A key to success in this role is the ability to have the physical stamina to walk long distances during all-weather situations, including rain, snow, and heat. Being prepared for anything is important, including putting on safety gear, dressing the dogs in coats or other protective items, and of course, being aware of your surroundings for your protection and the protection of the dog. Success in this role is determined by the continued safety of the animals and satisfaction of our loyal customers.

• Walks dogs according to schedule
• Observes dog behavior
• Disposes of waste
• Checks in before and after each walk
• Walks during all weather situations
• Has transportation to and from multiple locations

Job requirements

• Physical stamina and strength
• Reliable transportation
• Prior experience with dogs
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Hours

• Flexible, including day and night shifts
• Currently looking for part-time availability: 3-4 days a week, weekend availability is a plus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
