Job Summary
Make deliveries to customer job sites or business while adhering to all safety procedures. Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
* Knowledge of Thomasville area.
* Perform routine pre-delivery and post-delivery inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety.
* Plan route to and from customers' businesses and adjust for traffic and/or construction.
* Ensure that manifests are complete and accurate.
* Deliver merchandise to customer and contact customer if they are not present.
* Load truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer.
* Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and DOT procedures.
* Provide assistance to resolve customer issues.
* Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image.
* Transports deliveries according to manifest in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and applicable DOT regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
* Must be twenty-one years of age
* Must pass the Drug Test
* Must pass the Background Check

* Bilingual

Education and Experience
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years driving experience.

Qualifications
* CDL - Class A - Operate vehicle with GVW 26,000 and over.
* Truck Mounted Forklift (Piggy Back)- optional
* Proper licensing relative to equipment.
* Active DOT Card
* HazMat certification may be required.
