Position Summary: Shepherd Electric Supply, a leading Wholesale Distributor since 1892, headquartered in Baltimore, is seeking a dependable, Assistant for our Direct to Stock (DTS) team in Rosedale, MD..

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pay: $45,000 - $50,000

The ideal candidate will be responsible for…

• Work in a team environment, closely with the DTS and Project Management teams, to receive, review, approve, and coordinate DTS shipment requests

• Keep detailed notes on all inbound and outbound material

• Keep department calendar up-to-date with all relevant events

• Facilitate requirements gathered from storage agreements, bailment forms, etc.

• Create DTS Storage packets, upon request

• Participates in trainings to maintain and grow basic knowledge of electrical products

• Performs all other associated tasks assigned by Leadership team

The successful candidate will demonstrate...

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines accurately and in a timely manner.

• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Basic understanding of accounting and math skills.

• Ability to work independently and with other team members in a fast-paced environment.

• 
  High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1 – 3 years experience in Electrical industry preferred

• Self-motivated and results focused

• Ability to work on multiple tasks, or projects, simultaneously

• Experience in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, Word, Office 365, and Eclipse

• Demonstrates professional attitude, conduct and appearance

• Excellent interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication

• Professional and pleasant phone demeanor
