Job description
Dump Truck Driver's primary role is to safely and efficiently transport and dump loose materials (such as asphalt, rock or dirt) to and from job sites and projects as required by the company. Loading, operating, and routine maintenance of the truck, as well as other tasks deemed necessary are expected of the driver.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ยท Maintain a safe vehicle and equipment
- Follow flagger instructions while on site
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per company policy
- Work with and load a variety of raw materials
- Process and turn in proper documents for each load and/or project to logistics manager daily.
- Perform other related tasks as necessary
- Class A or B Driver's License required
- Work evenings or weekends as required
- Take direction from logistics manager or field personnel as required.
- Fuel/clean truck every evening
- Maintain daily log with accurate and legible information
- Report any foreseen issues with logistics manager ASAP
- Material hauled/dumped will be issued from the logistics manager only.
