E-Commerce Specialist

We are currently seeking an eager and proactive E-Commerce Specialist to take on a highly involved role in our E-Commerce department. As a critically important member of a small and focused team, you’ll help to ensure that all e-commerce operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the locating of all items in our warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work with sales/import teams in anticipation of new inventory arrivals.
• Report low inventory levels to Sales/Import teams bi-weekly.
• Report excess inventory levels to Sales/Import teams monthly.
• Apply oneself to learn computer systems and software currently utilized by Hardline Group.

Inbound Receiving:

• Assist in container unloading.
• Maintain an up-to-date count of received inventory to maintain accuracy within our systems.
• Organize goods systemically as soon as they hit our floor.
• Upload inventory quantities into systems and software currently utilized by Hardline Group.
• Maintain and upload new inventory locations into systems and software currently utilized by Hardline Group.
• Report received inventory to Sales/Import teams.

Outbound Shipping:

• Pick and pack orders daily.
• Maintain an order defect rate of less than .3%
• Ensure packages are being picked up daily.

Reverse Logistics (Returns):

• Assist with checking in returns.
• Transfer goods to applicable departments using systems and software utilized by Hardline Group.
• Report excess returns to Sales/Import teams.
• Report and dispose of unfixable inventory.

Miscellaneous:

• Assist in analyzing available e-commerce data/projections and adjust listings accordingly.
• Assess needs of the e-commerce team and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

Ideal Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (business/finance related preferred).
• 1+ years’ e-commerce experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Proven ability to thrive within a fast-paced work environment.
• Innate problem-solving instincts.
• Fantastic multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
