Responsibilities


CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time EAP Counselor to join the team!

The EAP Counselor provides counseling services to meet the psychosocial needs of employees, spouses, and family members covered under the CHI St. Alexius Health Employee Assistance Program. Provide other instructional services to assist business customers in reaching optimal level of productivity and employee engagement.

What You'll Do:

  • Demonstrates proficiency in clinical counseling skills such as assessments, on-going treatment strategies and appropriate referrals.
  • Works with Employer Groups and their designees to promote and sustain the EAP Program for Employer group cont11/racts.
  • Assists in the initial and ongoing employee orientation/supervisory training activity as required by customer contractual agreements or as requested by Director.
  • Understands the EAP Counselling Model and promotes it in clinical practice.
  • Assists in review, development and utilization of the affiliate process.
  • Participates in EAP rotational activities such as evening coverage and on-call activities with other EAP Counselors.
  • Provides Critical Incident Stress Debriefings as requested.Provides out of town satellite travel and coverage as deemed necessary by contractual agreements or as requested by Director.
  • Is comfortable and effective in applying clinical skills to individual, couple, family and business dynamics.
  • Has interest in marketing the EAP process to employer groups.
  • Interested in providing training and educational seminars to employee groups.
  • Willing to travel to “satellite” location/s on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Is creative and flexible with scheduling in order to meet the needs of our clients and employer groups.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling and Guidance or related field which provides the opportunity to acquire a LAC, LPCC or a LICSW.
  • Credential as a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Addiction Counselor.

Pay Range
$22.92 - $30.65 /hour
