Job Description:
Our Talent Acquisition team is excited to bring on a dedicated Talent Acquisition Programs Specialist to focus on enhancing our Intern program, expanding our systems reporting and training, implement our D&I recruiting efforts and drive talent branding initiatives and programs.
Projects that you might work on:
- Campus Recruiting Program:
- Enhance, coordinate and manage the internship recruiting program in alignment with our culture, hiring needs, and diversity efforts
- Network with students and interns to build a robust early career talent pipeline
- Build and maintain relationships with career service offices, deans, instructors, and student groups with targeted schools and specific programs consistent with the company’s strategic talent needs
- Partner with marketing on initiatives related to strategic employer branding and recruiting strategy targeted towards early career students up through PhD programs
- Partner with marketing to build and maintain a campus focused recruiting portal
- Manage the intern hiring program hiring from soup to nuts using the ATS to create, maintain and process internship opportunities through the application, interview, disposition, and onboarding workflow.
- Leverage recruiting expertise to influence key internal stakeholders on highly complex decisions regarding the direction of diversity recruitment activities and programs.
- Report data out of our ATS and support initiatives in the in the areas of competitive intelligence, target demographics landscape, etc.
- Think innovatively to identify and create diverse talent pools with a keen understanding of market availability.
- Build, improve and maintain relations with diversity organizations, partnerships, candidate and internal clients; attend external events and plan for targeted Deloitte sponsored events
- Manage candidate data, reporting and analysis across DEI conferences, events and special programming/initiatives. Provide input and make recommendations into cross-functional analysis of diversity strategy and initiatives to ensure effectiveness and consistent execution.

Required qualifications:
- You are an excellent communicator and evangelizer, able to confidently represent the company with professionalism and courtesy both internally and externally.
- You have demonstrated success in disciplined execution; being detail oriented, open, patient, and able to bring up others around you.
- You are passionate about Shield AI’s mission and values; able to confidently and fluidly discuss our product.
- You have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience developing and implementing a campus recruiting program
Preferred qualifications:
- DE&I programs and ATS administration and reporting functionality
- High growth tech startup experience
- DoD/cleared industry experience
