Our Parents Day Out program located in Kirkwood, MO is currently accepting applications for Teacher Assistants. We operate during the school year, September through May. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30a-12:30p. Our ideal candidate would have some experience in early childhood education. If you love kids, are flexible, adaptable and a good team player we would love to hear from you! Please submit an up-to-date resume along with at least 3 references.

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
• Must hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certifications
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Lead Teacher
• Supervises and ensures safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Assist assigned teacher in any way possible including, but not limited to:
• Preparing and setting up activities
• Implementing portions of the daily programs as directed by the lead teacher
• Assisting in keeping the classroom, storage areas, and bathrooms clean, net and orderly
• Attend team meetings
• Supervise children while on playground
• Be familiar with the Program Policies

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
