Now Hiring: Kumon Math and Reading Center of Royersford

Early Learner Assistant

Candidate will work with young students (ages 4-7) on assignments relating to basic math and reading proficiency. Ideal candidates should have an interest in working with young students and have a desire to help students learn and achieve their potential.

No specific work experience required although experience in the educational field or working with young children is a plus.

Applicants must be proficient in math through Algebra and have a passion for reading. Must be focused, diligent, and enjoy working with students of all ages (pre-K to high school).

Must be respectful and polite; show professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

On the job training provided

Requirements for successful candidates:

Proficient English skills (e.g., pronunciation, grammar, spelling, comprehension, etc.).

Proficient in Math (e.g., arithmetic).

Outgoing and service-oriented personality.

Energetic & proactive (e.g., the ability to work well under pressure & multitask).

Punctual, well organized & reliable.

Work Hours: 12 -15 hours per week, and mostly after school hours.e

Typical start time:

• 4:00 PM
