East Louisville Pediatrics a division of One Pediatrics, PLLC is currently seeking candidates that display excellent teamwork & accountability and will successfully function within a high performing organization for a Medical Practice Manager opportunity in the greater Louisville area.

This position is responsible for the management of their division’s pediatric practice operations, personnel activities, and the day to day operations of the clinic(s) by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

• Proactively identify potential problems and offer solutions.
• Analyze and organize the practice’s operations and procedures.
• Create and maintain a positive, customer-oriented environment ensuring excellent patient care from registration to check out.
• Ensure that all areas of the practice are well maintained and that the staff has the necessary tools to complete all tasks in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Handle and resolve patient issues, unhappy patients or patient’s parents, in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Provide leadership for daily operations of practice including, hiring, employee orientation, supervision, setting performance expectations, proper counseling and documentation of personnel issues, and ongoing evaluations of staff.
• Ensure that all staff meets and maintains appropriate certification requirements based on the position held.
• Identify daily, weekly and monthly priorities and align resources effectively.
• Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities as appropriate.
• Act as liaison with attorneys, accountants and other outside professionals.
• Evaluates office production, revises procedures, or devises new forms to improve efficiency of workflow. Initiates and manages cost reduction programs.
• Ensure patients are billed correctly and timely, and that proper documentation is being provided.
• Ensure that all telephones are answered in a timely efficient manner by trained staff.
• Provide leadership by example, back up and assist other team members as necessary.
• Work closely with the management and employees of One Pediatrics.
• Meet on a regular basis with the Client Success Director and other designated staff for review and discussion of monthly reports, including the aged AR, co-pay collections and managed care.
• Monitor financial performance and accounting reports, identify and address discrepancies, keep physician partners informed.
• Assure maintenance of current policies and procedures for all aspects of clinical, support, and business operations as required for compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies and highest standards of patient service.
• Spearhead special projects as required or requested relating to practice growth and development.
• Monitor and report to the practice partners external factors critical to the financial success of the division including, changes in referral patterns, payer trends and market changes.
• Assure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Represent the practice at various outside venues (e.g. MGMA events, manager meetings, etc.) and become the face of the office in the community.
• All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: All practice support staff.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
