Essential Job Duties:
- Participates in outreach/recruiting programs and special events.
- Interacts with and develops partnerships with community groups, businesses, state and local agencies to reach potential students for outreach/recruitment and enhance relationships, college/K-12/business
- Assists in tracking of students for recruitment purposes and participates in various communication flow processes.
- Provides advice and information to education and community partners.
- Participates in outreach and recruitment activities for service area, including workshops and training programs for service area school students, parents, apartment tenants, businesses, etc.
- Informs students about college and system/state policies regarding testing and placement in addition to policies and procedures.recruiting/admissions
- Uses data and best practices to drive outreach and recruitment activities.
- Maintains confidentiality of all student records and databases as related to recruitment, admissions and student success.
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with grant coordination or management
- Strong organizational skills
- Database management skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and fiscal management principles and procedures
- Strength and experience in maintaining professional relationships
- Collaborative working style
