Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to assess and diagnose the learning problems of students. They work within the scope of a multidisciplinary team of professional to make decisions regarding the placement and support of students with learning disabilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Works within the scope of a multidisciplinary team to assess students, plan a course of action for students, and monitor the progress of a student within the school systemReceives student referrals and evaluates within the appropriate timelines established by the School DistrictAssists in the selection of evaluation materials and equipment maintenanceUses course of action determined by the team to implement and track the program developed by the multidisciplinary teamCollects data from student folders, teachers, support staff, parents, and any other outside personnel involved in the programEvaluates the assessment program and implements changes as neededCompletes reports and evaluations logs as required by the School District and state/federal guidelinesCommunicates with parents, teachers, and staff on progress of the studentRemains informed regarding state and federal guidelines as it relates to special educationPlans, develops, and implements training for School District staff and teachersPerforms other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements: Masters Degree preferredTeaching experience preferred but not requiredCertification as required by State RegulationsAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be requiredComputer proficiency requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageoffroadmanagementgroup.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
