Job description
The City of Oglesby is seeking a Qualified applicant for the position of Journeyman Electrical Lineman. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency, and have graduated from an accredited lineman training program, along with at least 10 Years experience.
The position includes but is not limited to performing work related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Work in hazardous areas close to energized lines, including live rubber glove work, work in inclement weather, 24 hour call out schedule, and overtime as required.
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a CDL license, and must pass a physical, including a drug/alcohol test, and a background check. $40.00 - $42.00/hour to start depending on experience. Includes a great benefit package.
