We are seeking an experienced {Job Title} to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Skills & Essential Functions:
-Proficient in the design of low voltage power distribution systems and lighting systems, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, lighting plans, control schematics, block diagrams, and installation details.
-Proficient in completing engineering calculations, including load summaries, breaker sizes, conduit and wire sizing, voltage drop, and fault current.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD software.

  • Good understanding of the NFPA 70E National Electrical Code.

-Strong ability to work independently and efficiently on small to medium electrical and control system design projects.

  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs and control descriptions.

  • Experience in construction administration, field inspection, start-up and commissioning.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Associate degree in electrical engineering technology required. This requirement may also be fulfilled with 5 years minimum electrical and control design experience.

  • Working knowledge of National Electrical Code

  • Minimum of five (5) years electrical and industrial controls engineering experience in Water/Wastewater industry is preferred.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience producing EI&C Contract Drawing packages in AutoCAD.
