Based in NJ, we are a leading manufacturer of pneumatic actuation products. Due to recent growth in demand for our products and services, we are in need of an Electrical Engineer skilled in the design of solenoids and other actuation systems to help design and manufacture our products.
Based in NJ, we are a leading manufacturer of pneumatic actuation products. Due to recent growth in demand for our products and services, we are in need of an Electrical Engineer skilled in the design of solenoids and other actuation systems to help design and manufacture our products.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for leading R&D efforts to develop new products as well as improve current products. You will be responsible for preparing prototype assemblies, performing tests, and generating reports for the results of design studies, trade studies, failure analyses, and test programs.
What You Need for this Position
Must Have :
Nice to Have :
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years designing and developing solenoids
- 2+ years of SolidWorks experience
- 2+ years of simulation software experience (EFD Flow, ANSYS/Maxwell)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as UL, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, etc.)
Nice to Have :
- Familiar with FMEDA reports for functional safety
- ISO experience
