Position: Electrical Engineer I

Locations: Charleston, WV, Midland, MI, or Louisville, KY

Position Summary:

CDI Engineering Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer I.

Position Responsibilities:

• Specify Electrical Equipment (switchgear, motor control centers, VFD’s, lighting, etc.).
• Perform Electrical Calculations (load studies, voltage drop, motor starting analysis, conduit/cable tray sizing, etc.).
• Understand and apply the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). Familiarity with NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
• Able to work efficiently and effectively on a remote team.
• Work with project controls to track projects in progress.
• Work with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, process) to ensure proper design of project.

Position Qualifications:

• Industrial electrical design engineering experience.
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years of industry experience.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
