The South Western School District is looking for a highly qualified, innovative, and passionate educator for the Middle school/ Elementary School Music teacher. This position will begin at the start October 2023 and finish out the 23-24 school year. This positon would require teaching choir at the middle school level and band at the elementrary level. The primary job goal for this position includes planning for and carrying out instruction and student supervision in accordance with the priorities, policies, and procedures of the South Western School District. Minimum qualifications include: (1) PA K-12 Music Certificate; (2) Clean criminal history in accordance with all PA mandated background checks (Act 34, Act 114, Act 151); (3) Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills; and (4) the Ability to effectively plan and deliver high quality, rigorous, meaningful, relevant, and standards-aligned instruction.
