JOB DETAILS
Elementary General Music at Pelican Elementary & Mills Elementary
FUNCTION:
This position will involve split time between 2 elementary schools teaching general classroom music K-5. Recorders are part of the 4th-grade curriculum at each school. Duties include but are not limited to, creating and presenting a winter program in December at each school, as well as participating in district spring band (4th-grade recorders) and choral festivals. Klamath Falls City Schools offers a comprehensive music program to our students, including vocal K-12, and instrumental music grades 5-12 both band and orchestra.
REQUIREMENTS:
Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission with a music endorsement and be considered highly qualified by the Oregon Department of Education.
