The Eligibility Specialist will coordinate and manage a caseload of working families to help them with eligibility for subsidized child care. Additionally, connect qualified families to local county service providers and manage positive relationships in the community.

****MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH****

  Location: 455 Boot Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335
  • Occasional travel to ELRC satellite offices in Phoenixville, PA - Coatesville, PA - West Grove, PA
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30-4:30

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High School diploma. *60+ credits or Bachelor's degree - preferred
• Experience with Data systems, Word and Excel
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations and reports
• Ability to effectively write reports, business correspondence and procedural documents
• Knowledge of and/or experience in the Department of Human Services or childcare programing
• Bilingual in Spanish required

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS:

(Clearances and TB current within 12 months)

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Human Services (DHS) Federal Criminal History Report (Use DHS Code: 1KG738)
• TB Screening
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
