The Email Specialist will develop and execute email assets, such as creative and content, for individual business lines and marketing campaigns. To develop/execute these email campaigns, the Email Specialist will collaborate with business and marketing partners.
This role will perform the execution of email sends, quality testing, A/B testing, routine database maintenance, data entry, and data analysis.
Responsibilities:- Working with eBusiness, marketing, and business line teams to execute email strategy and to nurture an overall strategic and consultative approach to email marketing based on industry best practices, while managing the day-to-day email marketing needs of the business lines.
- Effectively analyzing campaign results and distill into recommendations that improve program performance.
- Developing/creating HTML email templates, recommending template enhancements or changes as needed.
- Creating and updating Process Documentation and SOPs based on evolving business needs, technological enhancements and industry best practices.
- Maintaining and updating email database in accordance with CAN-Spam regulations and Club practices.
- Executing and sending emails to subscribers.
- Coordinating content for email sends via Club software solutions, currently WorkFront, Atlassian Jira, & Adobe Campaign.
- Testing emails prior to send to ensure flawless execution.
- Working with external vendors to enhance and send e-mail campaigns.
- Ensuring all SLAs and other departmental deadlines are met.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 1-3 years in e-mail marketing.
Experience working with email marketing database/campaign tools.
Demonstrated experience developing and applying list segmentation techniques.
Experience employing A/B testing regimens.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience working with email marketing tools – Adobe Campaign experience a
large plus.
Experience working with browser and device rendering services – Litmus
experience a large plus.
Data input and spreadsheet management experience.
KNOWLEDGE:
proven success in development and execution of traditional and innovation
activities.
Comfort using empirical data to support marketing decisions; ability to glean
intelligence and behavioral inferences from data, demonstrable history of using
data to improve profits.
Solid knowledge of current email standards, email compliance regulations, and
email/web best practices.
Familiarity developing and deploying content for tightly defined target audiences.
Advanced knowledge of email marketing quality assurance for interactive
campaigns.
Email coding and editing.

The pay range for this position in Rhode Island is $67,000.00 - $82,375.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Annual bonuses are some of the additional forms of compensation offered.
