Job Title : Embedded Engineer

Location : Mossville, IL (Onsite)

Duration : Full time

Job Description:

· As the ICS Marine Cybersecurity support engineer, you will be responsible for the Marine Electronics Cybersecurity Type Approval documentation and test plans.

· In this job role, you will be responsible for creating supporting documentation and writing test cases for various Marine societies Cyber Security Requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

· Work with Engines, Panels, Power Train, Display and Product Link teams to understand Cyber Security Capabilities of those products.

· Develop documentation required for Marine Societies Cyber Security Requirements

· Pre Test various components described above to confirm they pass the documented test cases

· Perform Cybersecurity Type Approval witness tests demonstrations.

Must have Skills:

· Experience with CANape and other Vector products

· Experience with CAN and J1939 protocols

· Experience with open loop, closed loop testing

· Writing test reports including data documentation of test results.

· Highly organized person with proven electronic troubleshooting skills

· Time management and prioritization skills required

· Experience with Microsoft Office tools

Desired Skills:

· Good communication (powerpoint, excel graphs, etc), interpersonal and collaboration skills

· Knowledge of Cybersecurity for embedded products

· Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

· Experience with Marine Classification Society requirements

· Experience with International test standards: IEC 62443

· Experience with CAT Marine Engines

· Experience with datalink protocols: J1939, Modbus and other Ethernet

· Experience with external certification bodies (DNV, ABS, ATEX, UL, CSA, CE, etc)

Soft Skills:

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Be able to navigate uncertainty in requirements and communicate to extract details from others

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technologist degree in an accredited Electrical, Electronic, Controls or equivalent

· 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in control system test and validation

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Mossville, IL 61552: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
