Description:
We are currently seeking an Emergency Department Technician at our South campus. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, works efficiently as a team member, someone who is able to follow directions, can remain calm in stressful situations, all while demonstrating professionalism. This person would be under the direct supervision of the Registered Nursing staff. The duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Physician with physical examinations and procedures, assisting the Registered Nurse with treatments, assist with the comfort needs of our patients and families in emergency situations, maintain supplies in the department and treatment rooms, and transporting patients upstairs for admission. Applicant must have a high school diploma or the equivalent of. Completion of EMT or Nurse Aide Course is preferred (nursing school, medical school, previous hospital or military experience may
