Integrity Medical Transportation, LLC provides Basic Life Support and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation. We are seeking experience, competent and capable Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to respond to medical emergencies, conduct on-scene evaluations, administer patient care, support, and transportation to hospitals and between care facilities.

EMT Credentialing:

  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate
  • Successful completion of EMT or Paramedic course
  • Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within six (6) months of hire
  • Current EMT certification and license
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Current Texas EMT-P certification license
  • Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) recommended
  • 1 year as a paramedic in hospital setting; 2 years’ experience as EMT-P preferred

EMT Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor communication equipment to ensure contact with dispatcher
  • Follow instructions from dispatcher and safely navigate emergency vehicles to locations
  • Respond to all calls prepared, presentable, and with a professional manner
  • As per state and Integrity Medical Transportation LLC protocols, assess the nature of extent of injury or illness and administer basic life support on-scene and while enroute to hospitals or care facilities
  • Rescue victims of accidents, sudden illness or entrapment using proper rescue and medical techniques
  • Communicate with professional medical personnel and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further treatment and/or to arrange reception of patients
  • Maintain order at scenes including crowd restraint and disbursement
  • Complete all applicable patient care, insurance, and evaluation forms in a competent and timely fashion
  • Maintain proper order, cleanliness, inventory, and serviceability of company vehicles, equipment, and supplies
  • Representing the ambulance service while on duty at public service functions, expositions, and other public events
  • Providing ambulance stand-by services at sporting events or any other activities designated by Management.
  • Performing any other duty related to Integrity Medical Transportation LLC as designated by Management.

EMT Privacy Obligations:

  • EMTs are expected to protect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with Company policies and procedures and as required by applicable state and federal law
  • EMTs may access protected health information only to the extent to render necessary care and to complete job related duties.
  • EMTs may only share patient information with those medical professionals directly involved in rendering patient care
  • EMTs will actively participate in privacy training and uphold Company policies

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Must be 25 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid Texas driver’s license
  • Successful completion of EMT-B or EMT-IV course of study
  • Current State EMT Certification/License
  • Basic IV: 2 years
  • American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer and/or American Heart Association BCLS certification and/or ASHI CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • Graduation from a state-approved program by the state of issuance of license or certified EMT or Paramedic
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Background check verification

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
