We at M Health Fairview are looking for an Emergency Department Technician in our Emergency department at our University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.
About the position:
- 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period)
- evening shift (12pm-1030pm, 5pm-130am)
- every other weekend

Job Responsibilities:
The ERT is going to:
- Provide for patient safety by following appropriate safety procedures/plans and use accurate infection control techniques and maintain room/unit, restock room, supplies and carts and assist with patient room clean-up between patients.
- Transport patients by wheelchair and cart, assist patients with ambulation and positioning and assist in patient care activities
- Promptly respond to call lights/requests and demonstrate concern for patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality
- Documents patient care activities and procedures on the nursing record and advises RN of patient observations
- Assist in resuscitation with appropriate CPR and bag/valve mask
Required:
Qualified candidates will need:
EMT licensure or be active on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry
BLS
Do you have 2 or more years Emergency Room Technician or Emergency Department Specialist experience? Even Better!
