The Employee Relations (ER) Manager reports directly to and is under the direct supervision of the Chief Human Resource Office. This position will oversee all employee relations activities, policies, processes, procedures, and will demonstrate employee relations expertise, excellent judgment, and highly developed analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.


Experience required:

1. Minimum 3 years of employee relations compliance management.

Duties and skills:

  • Focus on making the company a better place for employees.
  • Builds positive relationships with employees, which helps to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Might conduct the exit interviews to identify reasons the employees left.
  • Helps to develop strong relationships and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to manager and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Ensure fair and equitable employment practices are followed in the areas of recruitment, employee relations and benefits & compensation.
  • Manage reporting and tracking of employee terminations, ensuring that the department acts in accordance with government regulations.
  • Research and development of new policies related to changes in Legislation.
  • Providing day-to-day support on a broad range of Employee Relations topics, including performance management, leaves of absence, grievances, departures, and change management
  • Develop strategies to ensure that field Managers and District Managers are well versed in key employment relations matters.
  • Represent the company, as required, in legal challenges and depositions.
  • Investigate, analyze, and make appropriate recommendations regarding complex employee relations issues filed internally.
  • Organizing and tracking ongoing team projects, issues, goals, and processes
  • Creates and conducts training for employees.
  • Investigates workplace situations.
  • Addresses complaints from employees
  • Assist improvement of HR policies and the way the company treats employees to improve team relationships
  • Coordinating key Employee Relations functions with other areas of HR
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
