The Bloch Career Center prepares students for lifelong career readiness through innovative and tailored programs, services, and strategic partnerships.
The Employer Outreach Officer serves as the leader of the Bloch Career Center's employer engagement efforts on behalf of the University to advance undergraduate and graduate student placement into top-tier positions for both internships and full-time roles through a strategic, coordinated and comprehensive effort with employers and other partners.
The Employer Outreach Officer is a visionary, innovator, collaborator, and results-oriented manager responsible for all aspects of employer engagement. In particular, the Employer Outreach Officer will provide leadership for the following objectives in the Bloch Career Center's strategic plan:
- Expand relationships with employers and alumni by growing the Bloch Career Center's engagement model.
- Increase meaningful connections between students and alumni by creating and implementing programs, networking, and mentorship opportunities.
- Establish recruiting relationships with top-tier employers not actively recruiting at the Bloch School of Management/UMKC.
- Deepen relationships with existing top-tier employers to expand hiring into new job functions.
- Provide an unparalleled recruiting experience for employers and students.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Salary
$48,900 to $62,400 (commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity)
