Reporting to the Vice President of Brand & Communications, the Employment Brand Manager is responsible for developing an innovative world-class talent strategy to attract the Best and Brightest to JOEY Restaurant Group. By building our employer brand and showcasing JOEY Restaurant Group as a world-class organization and top employer, this role will oversee all areas of the employer brand, from the employer value proposition and branding/marketing strategy with extended responsibility overlooking employee communication. With experience in social recruiting, online presence management, employer branding and talent analytics, this role will ensure the employee value proposition boldly reaches and attracts top talent and high potential in all roles including Chefs and Front of House Leaders. The Employment Brand Manager is deeply passionate about the candidate experience, all things marketing, social recruiting, employment brand and recruiting operations, as they know every candidate is a prospective guest just as every guest is a prospective candidate.



Responsibilities

Employment Brand Management

  • Manages the established, clear employment brand which highlights the employment value proposition.
  • Create a strong brand presence across competitive channels and online platforms.
  • Maintain up-to-date accounts of life at JOEY, including responding to interview and employee feedback and engaging with social dialogue.
  • Oversee the use of social channels to magnify employment brand with a social marketing strategy that supports talent marketing.
  • Manage the employer brand reputation for the JOEY Restaurant Group by developing and executing scalable employer brand strategies across all internal and external channels with a specific focus on digital, social and mobile channels.
  • Write creative, persuasive copy for various social media platforms.
  • Create, develop, and distribute the JOEY Restaurant Group talent brand story to attract top talent by optimizing various sites and social media outlets for candidate engagement, recruitment, and retention.
  • Partner with our internal marketing creative team to create print, digital and video content. Manage outside vendor relations for projects not done in-house.
  • Build “Brand Ambassadors” internally via the ‘Brand Communications’ and ‘Recruiting and Talent Attraction’ courses and through key stakeholders within the company.
  • Partner with our People & Culture and HR teams in support of employee internal communication from employee engagement to operation announcements
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization.

Requirements

  • 5-8 Years’ Experience in Talent Marketing/Sourcing and Recruiting
  • Experience in Workforce planning and internal employee communication
  • Experience with Employment Brand Creation and Amplification, with clear EVP pillars being marketed across multiple channel
  • Ability to develop and articulate global recruitment and talent marketing strategies.
  • In depth knowledge of recruiting practices, metrics, assessment tools and techniques
  • Experience in all social media platforms and various sites which contribute to the employment brand
  • Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally
  • Experience within the hospitality industry considered a significant asset
  • Experience using data analytics tools

Annual Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year
