Summary/Objective

An opportunity is now open for an Engineer at Controlled Environment Consulting (CEC). CEC is a nationally recognized industry leader in cleanroom design, evaluation, and consulting. We are forming a diversified group of professionals for the design, construction, and commissioning/validation of critical facilities. A background in construction management, building commissioning, and/or MEP systems engineering is desired.

Main Responsibilities (Engineer)

The specific responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Perform and Complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing System design documentation tasks
• Generate CAD design documents / construction documents
• Complete engineering calculations & surveys
• Conduct design research as required

· Perform and Complete professional reports regarding Compliance Consulting, Construction Management, and Mechanical Systems

· Assist in performance of construction management services

· Assist in Design & Installation of Specialty Systems

Basic Qualifications/ Core competencies

• Associates Degree required (Bachelor’s Preferred)
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in CAD (REVIT preferred)
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to understand mechanical systems

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Travel (occasional overnight stays required)
• Intermittent field work, including but not limited to:

· Lifting, up to 50 lbs.

· Access internal components of equipment for diagnostics and validation (low to high voltage)

· Visit construction sites for assessment of all activities including visual inspections of the roof and installed equipment

· Visit customer cleanrooms and laboratories in hospitals, pharmaceutical, and other industrial settings
