JOB SUMMARY:
To provide guests the most comfortable and enjoyable experience possible during their stay. Will facilitate all equipment set ups as requested and maintained in a manner consistent with their design and construction or better.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential job duties:
o Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs.
o Reporting on time for each shift.
o Dressed appropriately in uniform.
o Proper care and accountability for tools and supplies.
o Keeping records and logs as requested.
o Accounting for daily duties as assigned by Director of Engineering, Engineering Supervisors.
Tasks include but will not be limited to:
o Placement, setting & breakdown of all tables, chairs & other individual event requirements.
o Assistance with propane heaters, changing out tanks & storage of heaters.
o Restocking of firewood where necessary.
o Maintaining event equipment and reporting up if equipment is not up to Aman standards.
o Provide backup to outside vendors when needed.
o Assisting engineering department with any additional assignments as time permits.
o Performing other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Must be able to work flexible schedule to include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
o Must have a strong work ethic and willing to assist in all areas of the hotel.
o Must have a positive outlook on the purpose of this role and be willing to learn additional duties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.
WORK YEAR:
o This is a full-time year-round position.
PHYSICALITY:
o This position is extremely physical in nature. All employees must expect the following for sustained periods during each work shift:
Sustained standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting of potentially heavy loads, sitting, twisting, etc.
Working indoors and outdoors, in various climates including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
