ABOUT THE ROLE

We grew 14x after our first year and are poised for even faster growth in the years to come. We plan to support tens of thousands of learners in the next 3-5 years.

To enable all of that growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Outreach and Enrollment Advisor to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact. The Enrollment Advisor's primary responsibility will be to work with the VP of Operations and Head of Enrollment to support the student enrollment process by providing outstanding customer service, answering inquiries, and building relationships with prospective families. As the first and main point of contact for prospective families, the successful candidate will be a natural communicator, confident in their ability to engage with prospective families in a positive, inviting, and motivating manner.


Specifically, you will be:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to prospective families via virtual informational sessions, phone, email, and some in-person events.
  • Building relationships with prospective families to understand their needs and interests and provide personalized guidance.
  • Managing inbound leads from KaiPod Learning's website and marketing campaigns, guiding prospective families through the enrollment process.
  • Monitoring and tracking student enrollment metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting in the development of enrollment marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and emails with prospective families to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
  • Collaborating with other team members to improve the enrollment process and overall family experience.

More specifically, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, education, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in admissions or customer service, preferably in the education or edtech industry.
  • Experience in working with parents / ability to understand parents concerns and needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software (HubSpot preferred), enrollment management systems, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for in-person enrollment events and open houses.
  • Knowledge of online learning platforms and alternative education programs is a plus.
