Department: Enrollment Systems and Processing
Job Class and Status: Part-time, Non-exempt
Hours: 20 Hours Per Week
Reports to: Director of Enrollment Systems and Processing
Work mode: Fully remote or hybrid (Pasadena)
Brief Description:
This position provides technology systems and processing support to Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Retention (GRAMAR) departments, with particular focus on Student Financial Services (SFS)-related systems and processes. The purpose of this position is to coordinate with enrollment-related teams including Student Financial Services to understand the business processes that support student-facing systems and workflows to maximize productivity of departments, automate routine processes, and create a more intuitive student interface. Similarly, the role will collaborate with various departments (including Housing and Residential Community and SFS) to develop and configure student-facing systems integrations that involve more than one department.
Essential Functions as Enrollment Systems and Processing Coordinator:
Reviews, analyzes, and triages GRAMAR systems issues and cases

Perform systems functions including business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, as well as support for integrations, and upgrades

Help drive financial systems projects to a conclusion by being the subject matter expert for financial systems capabilities and configuration

Help drive housing systems projects to a conclusion by being the subject matter expert for housing systems capabilities and configuration

Manage testing and compliance within GRAMAR systems and procedures while utilizing bests practices in leveraging system capabilities

Support GRAMAR feature release updates and enhancements and coordinate cross functional team testing

Assist in the design and implementation of new functionality across financial systems

Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.

Model best practice components of customer service

Maintains ongoing communication and rapport with the Enrollment Systems and Processing team regarding project activity.

Flowcharts existing processes versus improved flow.
Conducts research for best practice models and benchmarking.
Secondary Functions as a Member of GRAMAR:
Attends staff meetings as appropriate

Responsible for cross-training and documentation in support of GRAMAR as part of the Enrollment Systems and Processing team

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

1-2 years database management experience preferred
-
High proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and related technologies are required

Proficiency working in a variety of computer operating systems is required
-
Experience with ellucian Banner data entry and/or management, or equivalent experience, preferred

Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL highly desired
-
Professional oral and written English communication requiredExcellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to accomplish a variety of activities effectively, even in the midst of frequent interruptions and stressful situations

Highly accurate and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality

Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment

Physical Requirements:
Able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours at a time

Able to read, take notes, and view a computer monitor

Able to physically and virtually conduct business at other offices across Fuller’s campuses
