  • Spacecraft navigation system design including knowledge and demonstrated practice in aided inertial navigation, Kalman filter development, Orbit determination, sensor Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR), covariance analysis, relative state determination, extensive experience with navigation sensors (e.g. star tracker, IMU, Lidar, optical navigation, etc…)
  • Launch Vehicle or Spacecraft guidance system development including closed-loop guidance algorithm design, Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Docking (RPOD), targeting and 3DOF trajectory optimization.
  • Launch Vehicle or Spacecraft flight controls system development including flight controls system design, time domain and frequency domain modeling and simulation, linear filter development, linear stability analysis, Thrust Vector Control (TVC) actuation and dynamics, Reaction Control System design. Work history with modeling and design for flexible body and propellant slosh dynamics.
  • Work history with design or selection, and qualification, of space rated IMU, GPS receivers, star trackers, accelerometers, rate gyros, magnetometers, sun sensors, Lidar.
