We are looking to fill one (1) entry level geologist/hydrogeologist position with 0 to 3 years of experience to serve out of either our Fort Myers or our Tampa Bay office. Under the supervision of a licensed Professional Geologist (PG), candidates will assist staff with development of testing plans, well drilling, aquifer/well performance tests, instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis, report preparation, water resource permitting, and infrastructure design. Candidates will direct contractors during hydrogeologic explorations and testing programs. Candidates must be capable of understanding technical aspects of hydrogeologic projects and execute projects to meet technical, quality, and scheduling requirements. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate strong verbal communication and written skills. A Florida Geologist in Training (GIT) certificate is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday through Friday. Some weekends may be required.

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.
• 0-3 years of experience
• Knowledge of geologic concepts including sedimentology, stratigraphy, karst systems, aquifer testing, geochemistry, groundwater and surface water monitoring.
• Knowledge of the geologic, hydrologic, and soil classification systems.
• Knowledge of the principles and standards of scientific study, field investigation and sampling, experimentation, research, and documentation.
• Ability to understand project objectives and schedules and meet critical deadlines and budgets.
• Ability to work with contractors, clients, and a diverse team of project delivery experts.
• Strong problem-solving skills; organized and reliable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Technical writing experience.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance and working outdoors in Florida weather conditions.
• Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy.
• Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
