The Environmental, Health and Safety Analyst is an Enterprise-wide analyst role supporting environmental, health and safety improvement for both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar Banners. The Analyst will dedicate
half of their time to California data analysis and performance improvement and
half of their time to non-California data analysis and performance improvement. The Analyst is expected to review and assess large data sets to isolate trend and EH&S opportunities, conduct advanced modeling, and build solutions and recommendations to drive performance improvement for environmental compliance and workplace safety and health.

- Conduct in-depth analysis using data collected and combined from multiple data sources to provide actionable recommendations for EH&S improvement.
- Responsible for developing and delivering effective, interactive presentations and reporting solutions for EH&S operational leaders.
- Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders to conceptualize business issues and translate them into an appropriate analytic format to drive action.
- Identify opportunities and coordinate projects across EH&S teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert in advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and quantitative analytical techniques.
- Deliver reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, or as otherwise necessary, covering EH&S performance.
- Support ad hoc data and analysis requests from leadership teams in Store Operations and Supply Chain Operations.
- Perform data gathering tasks and analytics
- Identify trends, develop solutions, project planning and data analysis.
- Produce monthly Safety Scorecard, and other similar reports, for Store Operations to review and utilize.
- Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.
- Synthesize findings and make recommendations to upper management.
- Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, 2-3 years of experience in analytical role
- Strong computer skills (Expert Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience leveraging business intelligence/query tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
