ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDES - PART TIME
Job Type: Part-Time Days and Weekends
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Housekeeping and Laundry service experience preferred but not required.
Full Job Description:
Environmental Services Aides are responsible for carrying out the duties of either Housekeeping and/or Laundry Departments which include, and are not limited to:
- The processing of all facility linen and resident’s personal linen and clothing
- The prevention of unnecessary waste, loss of time and damage to resident’s belongings.
- Maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas throughout the facility.
- Maintaining care of equipment and supplies.
This position requires the following:
Must be able to stand on feet 8 hours daily, no back, or joint issues, and be able to kneel and reach easily. The physical ability to perform job related duties, which require:
- Ability to lift 60lbs unaided
- Bending
- Stooping
- Stretching
- Pulling and pushing.
- Proficient use of the English Language
