Job description

Environmental specialists are responsible for completing comprehensive analysis of potential environmental liabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior staff on site to collect information, identify and evaluate potential risks, propose corrective action and/or conduct clean up activities. The ideal Environmental Specialist will also have a background in geology and well versed in the application of both chemical and biological science principles.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out data analysis, reports and presentations.
• Follow the instructions of superiors.
• Carry out field work in accordance with government regulations and policies.
• Prepare environmental impact assessment reports.
• Adapt to changes in the policy environment;.Assess environmental risks and impacts.
• Carry out emergency response activities.
• Perform a variety of tasks at the direction of superiors.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
