Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
- Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
- Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
- Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
- Participates on emergency preparedness planning team.
- Applies, or assists with application, for required environmental permits.
- Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed.
- Arc Flash and Electrical Tasks as needed.
- Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
- Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
- Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
- Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must be available off shift hours to answer phone regarding direct repairs.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Computer skills or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- At least two years of related experience required.
- High School or equivalent diploma.
- Trade School, Technical, Electrical, Mechanical certificate or degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with the following equipment: HVAC, Chiller, Pump Operations, Fire Alarm, Air Compressor, Compressed Air Dryers, Network Cabling and Industrial Electrical Power Distribution.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising Manufacturing Facility and Grounds.
- ARC Flash/ Electrical Experience required **Must pass Berry Arc Flash Electrical/Testing within first 30 days of employment.
- Able to work independently and with others.
- Able to accept responsibility for work performed.
- Capability to carry out duties as assigned.
- Experience managing the Industrial manufacturing facilities, equipment, and events preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities, including roof.
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
