ABOUT KPCC:
Based on the Reformed Tradition, Korean Presbyterian Church of Columbus (KPCC) belongs to Presbyterian Church USA. We have been around since 1991 and is currently located in Lewis Center, OH. The vision of KPCC is to become a church that is pleasing to and pleased with God by reaching unchurched and making disciples through worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and missions, based on Book of Acts 2:42-47 and Matthew 22:37-40, 28:19-20.
MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:
- WORSHIP - Lead biblical-based worship service & ensure the ESM vision is correlated to KPCC priorities in relating to the set mission
- EDUCATION - Set, plan, implement and oversee vision for the congregation that would lead in holistic ministry
- COMMUNICATION - Communicate effectively with church leaders about ministry goals, outreach activities, spiritual growth plans, and serving opportunities for ESM
- RELATIONSHIP - Invite and lead church families to expand connections and deepen the relationship by giving and sharing
- OUTREACH/MISSION - Plan and implement community volunteer works by encouraging and motivating congregation to serve neighbors with love and sacrifice
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
- Master’s in Divinity, preferred
- Bilingual in Korean and English, preferred but not required
- Coachable, flexible and adaptable to different ideas and changes
- Experience in directing Youth, College, and YA group at least one year
- Attention to detail oriented, organizational and prioritizing skills
- Basic computer skills (MS words, excel, power point)
- Experience in leading praise team is plus
